Esmée Gilbert

​Esmée Gilbert is a pianist originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, and is currently based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. A dedicated collaborator, she has substantial experience working with both vocalists and instrumentalists. Esmée earned her Bachelor of Music from Memorial University, her Master of Music from the University of Ottawa, and Artist Diploma in Collaborative Piano from The University of Montreal.

An active chamber musician, she has attended festivals such as the Lunenburg Academy of Music, Tuckamore Festival, Scotiafestival, and Quartetfest. 

Additionally, she is a Nova Scotia Registered Music Teacher and holds a faculty position at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts in Halifax.
